He was addressing MNAs and MPAs of various districts here on Thursday, disclosed an official. He further said that mass contact campaign should be further accelerated for consolidating PML. He stressed upon assembly members to play their due role for organisation and unification of the party at every level.
According to him, due to effective and far-reaching economic polices and reforms of the government, economic activities have expedited as a result of which the living standard of masses has improved. All sectors of life were being uplifted through solid and comprehensive planning.
The PML was playing vital role for poverty alleviation as well as economic and political stability. Besides promotion of tolerance and accommodation, democratic traditions were also being strengthened in the country. The thumping success of the PML-supported candidates in the local bodies' elections was a proof of the confidence of people in government policies.
The CM further said that the government, under a revolutionary programme, has executed a record number of development projects in the province and agriculture, education, health and other sectors strengthened.
He said that an institute of cardiology was being established at Faisalabad at a cost of Rs 1 billion for which services of international cardiac experts would be acquired. Moreover, he said, an industrial estate and garments city were also being set up in Faisalabad, which would result in generation of a large number of employment opportunities.
